The story came up to date on 15 January 2003 when a memorial was unveiled at the crash site by Connie Patton, William Wyatt Patton's niece. On the same day, the exhibit at Fort de Leveau, Feignies was officially inaugurated. This web site author Peter Randall accompanied by his daughter Mme. Karina Rase, had the honour of representing the Scouting Force Association at the ceremonies. Photo shows Connie Patton being presented with the flag that covered her uncle's memorial, by M. Michel Prévot, Mayor of La Longueville.
